IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING THE VETERAN HORSE SOCIETY REGIONAL FINAL

 

Parking

Parking for lorries and trailers will be very limited, SO PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU PARK AS CLOSELY AS POSSIBLE TO EACH OTHER.  Last year we were amazed at how rude competitors were and how unhelpful towards each other with regard to parking, so anyone who will not park as directed, or who does not move to a more suitable position when asked, will forfeit their entries and be asked to leave the showground.

We would ask trailers to park to the left of the road and lorries to park to the right.  We would also ask that you park at the back of the car park first—once that line is filled, then form a central line, then fill the front.  That way, everyone will be able to come and go as they please.

VHS Rules

Please make sure that you have your RED VHS cards IN YOUR POCKET IN THE RING, and that you are not wearing spurs or earrings!

Stabling

Stabling can be booked with Blue Barn Equestrian Centre on 01233 6622933.  This can be either overnight or for during the day, but please note that stabling will be limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Lungeing

At Great Chart Shows we have a very strict policy that NO LUNGEING is carried out anywhere on the showground.  Please adhere to this rule.

Judging

All competitors will be asked to do a set show and horses and ponies will be stripped.  VHS score sheets will be used and two A Panel VHS Judges will be officiating.

Other

Don’t forget, no handlers under the age of 9 for the in hand classes
