GREAT CHART SHOWS

Sponsors News

· Thank you to the kind lady that came into the office at Norton Heath and sponsored a Class—much appreciated…

· Thank you to Mr Jamie Sheehy and Southern Roofing for sponsoring the NPS affiliation for our show on 23rd May at Blue Barn—much appreciated.  www.southernroofing.biz

We would ask competitors to please park as close as possible or where directed & not to leave animals tied to outside of transport.  If you do not comply with the parking steward then your entries will be forfeit and you will be asked to leave!

If possible, trailers to go to the left side of lorry park as you drive in and lorries to the right.  Please go to the back of the parking area so that those arriving later will be able to park.  Blue Barn is a working livery yard and it would be appreciated if competitors make sure that they do not block in the customer’s vehicles.

Would competitors please NOT LUNGE their animals anywhere at Blue Barn as it is against the show centre’s policy.  Therefore, if you are caught lungeing they are within their rights to cancel the show on the spot!

Would competitors please NOT RIDE USING GADGETS, SIDE REINS OR DRAW REINS.  Different societies have different rules concerning this, and as we hold so many different qualifiers, it will be easier to comply with different society rules if no one uses any gadgets at all whist riding on the showground.

We would be most grateful if, in future, competitors leading stallions or child handlers made sure that they wear a safety hat when leading exhibits.

If you have difficulty in printing schedules from the site or would like to email entries click chartshowsociety@aol.com  (if you would like to enter shows by paypal) or email jennybourne@aol.com

All future Great Chart Shows will host qualifiers for the Royal London Show. Competitors will be given qualification cards from the Secretary's Office. The first 3 in most Classes will qualify - please see the Secretary on the day for your qualification card.

INFORMATION REGARDING EAGLESFIELD EQUESTRIAN CENTRE

FIRSTLY, this centre has very strict rules regarding the care of their arenas—to keep them in tip top condition, horse manure must be picked up as soon as it is produced.  Great Chart will be providing poo pickers in the collecting ring and the main arena.   However, if you are in a Class and a horse in front of you poos, please make sure that you do not trample it, as our poo pickers will need to get to it quickly.  We must all abide by their rules about poos, or the show will be stopped.

SECONDLY, please make sure that spectators keep to the seating areas provided and do not congregate in the collecting rings and especially keep pushchairs and buggies away from the collecting ring.

THIRDLY, The Traditional Gypsy Cob Association will be offering two qualifying places in the following Classes.  15, 16, 17, 30, 33, 38, 39, 41 and 42 to the two highest placed Traditional Cobs.  These are qualifications for the Finals at the TGCA National Championships to be held at addington Manor EC in October 2010.
