LORRY PARKING—PLEASE READ THIS
Due to recent bad weather the car parking at Blue Barn has been reduced. Therefore would you please follow the advice given by parking stewards at all times.
On arrival at Blue Barn, if there is no parking attendant at the gates, please park on the right hand side of the car park.
If you are staying for only the first Classes, please park near to the barn, and close to the road.
If you have an HGV or Classes that are later in the day, please park BEHIND the first line of lorries.
If you park in the second line of lorries, please just allow the front lorry ramps to be lowered plus a bit to get the horses off (but that is all) as we need to get three lines of boxes on the car park
Also, please just allow enough room to open lorry doors and tack lockers.
Do not, repeat do not, tie up on the side of the lorry/trailer—not only is it dangerous, but it takes up valuable parking space. Also, other shows have had instances of horse theft from animals tied to trailers—do not let this happen at Great Chart.
3.5 tonne lorries are to go to the small left car park and start the line at the back. When this car park is full, small lorries are to go to the 3rd line at the back of the right side of the car park.
