This show is a qualifier for the 2010 P (UK) Winter Championship Show. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each qualifying class will qualify. Competitors in qualifying positions, who are not current members of P (UK) are allowed 14 days in which to become members and register their horses/ponies in order for the qualification to remain valid. No Qualification cards will be awarded in the ring
CHAPS WINTER RULES - Both the owner and the rider of any exhibit need not be fully paid-up members of CHAPS (UK) at the time of competition, nor must the animal be registered; but to validate the qualification, both membership and registration must be applied for within 14 days of the qualification. Phase 1 Performance & Freestyle Show 60 Marks Phase 2 Conformation, Type & Suitability for Dressage 40 Marks The individual Freestyle Show to include the following movements in an arena no larger than 40m x 60m. Halt, walk on a long rein, ordinary trot serpentine (2 or 3 loop serpentine acceptable), extended trot on the diagonal, canter serpentine with change of lead, extended canter on the diagonal.
