Clear round jumping will commence at 9.30am in the smaller outdoor arena and will be raised in line with the working hunter class running in the adjacent larger arena.

Class 1 Beginners working hunter (any combination) - fences up to 1ft 6” max.
Class 2 Unaffiliated working hunter (any combination) - fences up to 2ft 3” max
Class 3 Equifest M&M working hunter pony – first 2 in each section will qualify 122cms to jump aprox 77cms 138cms to jump aprox 84cms Exc 138cms to jump aprox 99cms
Class 4 Equifest working hunter pony – first 2 in each section will qualify 133cms to jump 90cms 143cms to jump 100cms 153cms to jump 105cms
P (UK) WINTER ZENITH WORKING HUNTER CHAMPIONSHIP Working Hunter Horse/Pony, stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over. Riders any age. These classes are designed to encourage the horse/pony and rider to perform stylishly. The final will be divided into the following 2 divisions: - Maximum height 84cms - M&M maximum height 76cms Method of Judging: 1. Horses / Ponies will enter the ring individually and jump a course of obstacles designed to produce a maximum of 10 jumping efforts. Course Builders are recommended to avoid fences with a related distance. 2 Each jumping effort will be marked out of 10 – at the Judge’s discretion. 3 There is no set penalty for a pole down or run out but three refusals will result in elimination. 4 Fall of horse or rider will result in elimination. 5 There will be no mark awarded for conformation or manners, but a mark will be awarded for overall impression at the completion of each round. 6 In the event of a tie, the overall impression mark will determine the final placings. Should there still be an equality of marks, the jumping marks will be taken into consideration – the comparison beginning with fence one and continuing thereafter until a result is achieved.
Class 5 PUK Zenith Working Hunter Horse / Pony, maximum height of fences 76 cms (2’6”)
Class 6 PUK Zenith M&M Working Hunter Pony, maximum height of fences 76cms (2’6”)
Class 7 PUK Zenith Working Hunter Horse / Pony, maximum height of fences 92 cms (3”)

Class 8 P(UK) CONFINED NOVICE HORSELODE M&M WHP WINTER CHAMPIONSHIP Confined Novice Mixed Mountain and Moorland WHP Stallion, Mare or Gelding, 4 years and over, registered in the Pure Breed Section of the Societies Stud Books of Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Connemara, Highland, Dales, Fells, New Forest, Welsh Sections A, B, C & D. NOT to have won a first prize of £10 or more in any open mixed M&M WHP classification before 1st January in the current year. Rider any age. Height of fences to be according to the Confined Novice WHP Rules as listed in the Ponies Association (UK) Current Rule Book. FENCES to be adjusted for each section.

Class 9 P(UK) HORSELODE M&M WORKING HUNTER PONY WINTER CHAMPIONSHIP. Mixed Mountain and Moorland WHP Stallion, Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, registered in the Pure Bred Section of the Breed Societies Stud Books of Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Connemara, Dales, Fells, Highlands, New Forest and Welsh Sections A, B, C & D. Rider any Age. PLEASE NOTE: Classes must be divided by height and NOT by breed, as follows: if enough entries - Not exceeding 122 cms - Exceeding 122 cms but not exceeding 138 cms - Exceeding 138 cms FENCES to be adjusted for each section

Class 10 P(UK) CONFINED NOVICE DOWNLAND SMUGGLER WHP WINTER CHAMPIONSHIP Working Hunter Pony Mare or Gelding 4 years old and over, NOT to have won a first prize of £10.00 or more in an open WHP class before the 1st January in the current year, not exceeding 158cms. Riders must be the correct age for the animal they ride as stated in the current Rule Book 133cm /14 years 143cms/17 years 153cms/20 years 158cms/25 years Shows may divide this class by height, according to the current Rule Book. If classes are divided three qualifiers will be awarded for each class. FENCES to be adjusted for each section.
